ColorCarve Dull Engrave

Similar to our other cast acrylics, an initial engrave will result in that chalky/dusty look. You can either do a light initial pass followed by a second pass with the engrave or you can also attempt to buff it with Novus 2 followed by Novus 1. However, it will still have an engraved look meaning it will appear like a matte/dull black. An engraving will never result in a pure glossy black finish. To get that effect you could try adding a sealant, wax, or paint fill. Please let me know if that helps you out or if you have any other questions.
