We offer two types of adhesive sheets designed to simplify your acrylic, wood, and leatherette projects: 3M 468MP Adhesive Sheets and DualTite Adhesive Sheets.

3M 468MP Adhesive Sheets

  • Sheet Size: 12"x12"
  • Best For: Outdoor use
  • Applications: Excellent for bonding acrylic to acrylic, acrylic to wood, and leatherette to wood or acrylic.
  • Water Resistance: 3M 468MP is durable and suitable for outdoor projects, making it an excellent choice for items exposed to the elements.

DualTite Adhesive Sheets

  • Available Sizes: 12"x20" sheets or 12" x 60-yard rolls
  • Best For: Indoor use
  • Applications: Ideal for bonding acrylic to acrylic, acrylic to wood, and leatherette to wood or acrylic.
  • Water Resistance: Not recommended for outdoor use or projects in contact with water. This adhesive is best used for indoor projects where water exposure isn’t a concern.

How to Use Adhesive Sheets with Acrylic

  1. Prepare Your Acrylic: Start by removing one side of the protective masking (paper or clear film) from your acrylic sheet.
  2. Apply the Adhesive: Replace the masking with the adhesive sheet, carefully aligning it on the exposed acrylic surface.
  3. Cut Your Design: Cut your design with the adhesive side facing up and ensure your design is mirrored for accurate assembly.
  4. Assemble Your Project: After cutting, remove the protective film from the adhesive backing. Then, assemble your project, similar to using double-sided tape.

Laser Cutting Tips

When using adhesive sheets, you may need to adjust your laser cutting settings. The adhesive layer adds thickness to your material, which can affect the precision of your cuts. Always run a test cut before working on the final design.
